Lose Weight Fast Now

The SeEfood Diet  [ Not to be confused with a "seAfood diet", consisting of fish. ] 

The SeEfood Diet is truly one of the worst of all. This should not be confused with a "seAfood diet", which is also quite low on the list, even though it could potentially be at least slightly or somewhat helpful for someone who follows it to lose weight.

That is if the person is truly following it, that the correct percentage of their food intake is fish according to the diet, and the majority of the rest is vegetables and fruits and nuts, with grains also a small percent. Some versions allow meat once a week. There is also not complete agreement as to whether eggs and dairy are included, or not eaten.

But the SeEfood diet is the absolute worst. It's a diet many people have been on, even though some people may be ashamed to admit that. The SeEfood diet is the simplest and worst of all because it is only a "diet" in the sense that it describes the food intake, it has no goal of helping the person lose weight and can easily result in the exact opposite.

On the SeEfood diet, the person eats any food that they "see", or at least, eats whatever they want of any food they see. Even for the versions where the person either does not like or does not eat certain foods, if for the foods they do eat they can eat whatever they see or however much they want, that is surely not a path to follow with any expectation of success of "the diet" for losing weight.

The Atkin's Diet and the South Beach Diet


Almost all diets are formed to make some kind of supposedly ideal balance or mixture of the types of foods (proteins, carbohydrates, fats, etc.), that will result in healthy weight loss quickly while still supplying the body with needed nutrition, and these two diets are no exceptions. The Atkin's diet was popular for many years, has been refined based on new medical discoveries, and still has many adherents. The South Beach diet gained a lot of followers after being publicized in 2002 and becoming a book in 2005.

The Starvation Diet


For someone who wants to lose weight fast now, it is not uncommon to undertake any of various versions of this diet. The least common is indefinite fasting for days upon days, with only water and tiny amounts of food once per day as needed.

Instead, some people skip at least one meal every day, up to 6 times per week.

The main disadvantage to this is the people who do not carry it out in the most advisable manner. Specifically, the longer a person waits in the morning or day to eat, the more likely they are to eat a larger amount when they do eat. And it could also cause the "make-up syndrome", which is when the person is upset that they missed eating a meal earlier and directly feels that they need to or should "make it up" by eating more at their actual next meal, or even next 2 or 3 meals.

It has been found that a higher rate of success of this diet in terms of at the very minimum preventing further weight gain, and possibly not only stabilizing at a certain weight but possible actual weight loss, is able to be achieved when the person eats a small or medium to moderate sized breakfast, usually between 9 (bit on the early side) and 1130AM in the morning. And then no more food again until dinner (except water and 1 fruit or vegetable). 

And the same after dinner, until breakfast. So the mid- to late-morning breakfast is what some call "brunch", in place of breakfast and lunch, with no lunch or other food until dinner, at 2 meals a day up to six days per week. And then once a week eating three full meals in the course of a day.
